Industria Heating LTD – Terms & Conditions

1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all works carried out by Industria Heating LTD (“the Company”). By accepting a quotation, booking work, or allowing works to proceed, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Quotations & Scope of Work

\t•\tAll written quotations are based on the information available at the time and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

\t•\tQuotations cover only the work specifically described.

\t•\tAny additional work requested or required that is not included in the original quotation will be charged in accordance with Section 5 (Unquoted / Additional Work).

3. Payment Terms

\t•\tPayment is due in full within 24 hours of completion of the job, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

\t•\tPayment can be made via the payment methods stated on the invoice.

4. Late Payment

\t•\tAny payment not received within 24 hours of job completion will be considered overdue.

\t•\tA late payment fee of £25 per day will be applied for each day the payment remains outstanding, until the balance is paid in full.

\t•\tThe Company reserves the right to suspend future works until outstanding balances are settled.

5. Unquoted / Additional Work

\t•\tWhere work has not been quoted in advance, or where additional work is required beyond the original quotation, charges will apply at an hourly rate of £85 + VAT per hour, calculated based on attended site time.

\t•\tAny materials supplied will be charged in addition to labour costs.

\t•\tA markup margin may be applied to materials supplied by the Company, reflecting sourcing, handling, and warranty provision.

6. Day Rate Work

\t•\tWhere work is agreed on a day rate basis, the charge shall be pre agreed, for each person attending site.

\t•\tA standard working day is defined as 08:30 to 17:00, based on arrival at site and departure from site.

\t•\tPartial days attended may be charged as a full day unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Materials & Ownership

\t•\tAll materials supplied remain the property of Industria Heating LTD until payment has been made in full.

\t•\tAny materials purchased for a job may be invoiced separately at the value paid by the Company, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Warranty & Workmanship

\t•\tAll installations carried out by Industria Heating LTD are covered by a 24-month workmanship warranty, unless stated otherwise.

\t•\tManufacturer warranties apply to supplied equipment where applicable.

\t•\tThe warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, third-party interference, or normal wear and tear.

9. Access & Delays

\t•\tThe client is responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the property and work areas.

\t•\tAny delays caused by lack of access, unsafe conditions, or customer-requested pauses may be chargeable.

10. Limitation of Liability

\t•\tThe Company will not be held liable for pre-existing faults, defects, or issues discovered during works that were not reasonably visible beforehand.

\t•\tLiability is limited to the value of the works carried out.

11. Cancellations, Late Cancellations & No-Shows

\t•\tOnce a job has been booked and confirmed via email, the time slot is reserved exclusively for the client.

\t•\tA minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking without charge.

\t•\tWhere a client cancels with less than 48 hours’ notice, a late cancellation fee of £85 will apply.

\t•\tIf the client cancels at any point after confirmation, including on the day of the booking, the £85 fee remains payable to cover reasonable administrative costs, scheduling, and loss of allocated work time.

\t•\tNo-shows (where the engineer attends but is unable to carry out the work due to the client’s absence, refusal of access, or inability to proceed) will be charged £85, plus any additional costs incurred.

\t•\tThe Company reserves the right to invoice cancellation or no-show fees immediately, and payment will be due in accordance with Section 3 (Payment Terms).

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
